It’s a new year, which brings a fresh opportunity to eat right and reach those healthy lifestyle goals. I’m pretty good, most of the time, about making smart choices for meals, but it’s the in between-times that are my downfall. When I’ve got the munchies, I tend to grab anything and everything that’s within reach or sight, and that usually amounts to chocolate chips or the kids’ leftover Christmas candy. Those types of snacks always leave me wanting for more and feeling very regretful. Any effort I’ve put into making good food choices that day can go out the window in a flash! I don’t know why, but when I’m hungry, I become irrational!
