#ad Busy day? Make it Your Michelina’s

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Michelina’s. All opinions are 100% mine. How many times a week do you cook?

One of my friends posted this question on Facebook a little bit ago and it was very interesting to read the responses.  I’d say the average was between 4 or 5 times a week…pretty impressive!
As for me, some weeks are especially crazy and this doesn’t happen, but I try to provide my family with a home-cooked meal at least five nights.  We’ve deemed Friday “easy night”.  We usually heat up a pizza, boil some potstickers, or eat out.  Sunday is my favorite because my awesome hubby takes to the stove.  🙂

Though I love working in the kitchen, cooking five nights a week is tiresome!  After making dinner and doing all the cleanup, I just want to plop down on the couch with my family, kick my feet up, and catch up on some tv episodes. How about you?  It’s the one time of day when I don’t feel guilty vegging, because I’ve earned it.

Because so much effort goes into dinner, I’m a total simple lunch type of gal.   I don’t ever think about it until maybe ten minutes before it needs to happen, which is about when my stomach starts growling or the kids begin complaining about hunger.  🙂

By that time, I need something quick to either heat up or slap together.  Please tell me this happens to you sometimes too.  But the whole peanut butter sandwich and mac ‘n cheese deal tend to get old really fast.

Well next time when you’re pinched for time or just feeling generally lazy like me, look no further.  Michelina’s has tons of fantastic options, including some tasty Lasagna Tacos.

AND…there are tons of ways to boost the texture and flavor of your favorite Michelina’s meals!

A few add-ins selections are:
Roasted or sauted peppers,
bacon
shrimp
mushrooms
garlic
roasted tomatoes
cheese
 breadcrumbs

The possibilities are certainly not limited to those, though!  Then wrap ’em up in a warm tortilla or a crisp piece of lettuce.  Or, if you like a kick, give it a nice drizzling of hot sauce.  The options are endless!

A quick meal never looked so good!  I’m going to have to grab a few to keep in my freezer.
