Decadent Caramel Pecan Brownies are an indulgence that’s well worth it! A chocolate semi-homemade brownie base with melted caramel filling and chopped pecans for a perfect crunch.
These brownies are seriously sinful but oh so good! I always like to make desserts like this one when we have company so we can share the calorie love. 🙂 They’re rich enough that one piece is just right but saying no dessert when these delightful things are around would just be a crime!
I personally prefer them warm because the caramel melds perfectly with the brownies when it’s nice and soft. Take a piece and zap it in the microwave to keep to re-create that fresh-out-of-the-oven taste.
I grew up eating these phenomenal things. It was a special day for sure when mom surprised us with them. They’re ooey gooey and fudgy…a very welcome afterthought to dinner. They remind me of a molten chocolate lava cake, but in brownie form with oozing caramel instead. Heaven help me!
