Halloween Mantel 2015

Today I wanted to give you a quick look at this year’s Halloween mantel at the I Dig Pinterest home.
Since life here lately has been crazy, to say the least, with a move and welcoming baby #4 into our family, I didn’t purchase or make anything new.  But, because we have a HUGE mantel now, I got to use many of the same things from last year’s mantel plus lots more decor pieces.  Yay! (Note to self: We need an updated family picture.)
My kiddos begged me starting mid September to pull out the Halloween decor, but I made them wait another week.  Because I’m mean like that.  🙂  While we were decorating together, their dad came into the room and said, “It’s not even October!” 🙂
Halloween decorations do not wait until October at our house.  🙂
It’s a really good thing you can’t see what’s going on in the space next door to this family room, because it’s a complete disaster!  We’re giving it a new look and I’m so excited to show you the changes we’re making! Watch for the big reveal soon as part of my “Refresh It” series!

Here’s a breakdown of each of the elements, all from past years:

I made the Halloween subway board a few years ago
Trick-or-Treat Wood Blocks
31 Numbers
Bat Bunting
Metal Halloween photos
Witch’s Boot
I purchased the Witch’s Brew sign from TJ Maxx last year

Did you decorate for Halloween?

I love the subway sign; I can't believe you made it! I love that the whole this obviously Halloween, but in an understated way.

I'm hosting a link party on my blog and we'd love for you to come link up with us! http://winsteadwandering.com/the-alder-collective-link-party-no-3/
