Need a quick treat to take to the Halloween party? These Halloween Sprinkle Cake Mix Cookies are so festive, easy and tasty!
I’m a huge fan of cake mix cookies. Probably because I always have cake mixes in my cupboards and I can whip them up in no time at all with just a few ingredients that I already have on hand. But I have to say, they’re even more fun with sprinkles!
I’ve shared quite a few varieties of cake mix cookies here on the blog. Some of my favorites are the Chocolate Sprinkle Cake Mix Cookies, Strawberry Cake Mix Cookies and the Funfetti Cake Mix Cookies. There are so many delicious things to make with a cake mix, other than cake!
I felt like it was a crime not to have a Halloween Cake Mix Cookie on the blog, so I set out to make the perfect one! These are so incredibly scrumptious! There’s just one tablespoon of sour cream in them (and it plays a very important part) to make them perfectly soft, but they’re chewy as well. No one likes a dry cookie! They retain their softness so well as they store in an airtight container. I made a few batches while I was at it, because they bake up so quickly!
The sprinkles are a must! I have quite the collection of Halloween sprinkles in my cupboard, so I figured it was a great time to put them to use! I love the fun looks with the different sprinkles. Feel free to use whatever you’ve got on hand!
I’ll be making these again before Halloween, for sure! My kids can’t get enough of them! These are so perfect for giving to friends and neighbors!
