Ham & Swiss Stromboli

This semi-homemade recipe is straight from my aunt Julie’s kitchen. Growing up, we’d always request it when we went to visit her. She had to make 3 loaves each time, because we gorged ourselves on its complete deliciousness.

{HAM & SWISS STROMBOLI}

1 tube refrigerated French bread ( 11 oz.)
6 oz. thinly sliced deli ham
6 green onions, diced (I just use the green parts)
8 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) shredded Swiss cheese
Unroll dough on a greased cookie sheet.  Place ham over dough within 1/2 inch of edge.  Sprinkle evenly with onions, bacon and cheese.  Roll up jelly roll style, starting with a long side.  Pinch seams to seal and tuck ends under.  Place seam side down on baking sheet.  With a sharp knife, cut several 1/4″ slits on top of loaf.  Bake at 350 degrees for 26-30 minutes, or until golden brown.  Cool slightly before serving.  Serve warm.
Enjoy!

    My husband loves stromboli but I've never tried to make it before. This looks pretty doable. I might have to surprise him with it.
