Kool-Aid Fruit Pops from Juice Drinks

I am a member of the Collective Bias®  Social Fabric® Community.  This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper amplification for Collective Bias and its advertiser.
The warmer weather has finally arrived!  At least in my neck of the woods.  🙂  Which means lots of fun outdoor activities followed by cool beverages and refreshments! Yay!
When feeling parched, a nice tasty Popsicle always sounds amazing to me.  How about for you?
It’s no secret that I love fresh fruit, so I combined the two in an incredibly delicious and unbelievably simple Kool-Aid Fruit Pop for a perfect treat after being active outdoors.
I’ve talked about how I look forward to my run around our community every day.  The treadmill is certainly not for me.  But the hubby loathes jogging, so I fly solo, while he keeps busy on the street in front of our house on his ripstik.  He got the brilliant idea from my 12-year-old brother.  Shocking, I know.  But the only way to keep from getting older is to stay young at heart, am I right? 🙂  He’s very proficient at it and hasn’t taken any major spills as of yet, knock on wood.
And he doesn’t complain if his awesome wife brings him a jug of Mango Kool-Aid to help him #KoolOff afterwards. 🙂
But to make the evening even better, we went inside for a Kool-Aid Fruit Pop.
These are a must make!  They’re mouthwatering-ly good!  The frozen fruit chunks add a wonderful sweetness and texture!  Not to mention their gorgeous color!
Here’s what you’ll need to make your own Kool-Aid Fruit Pops:
A 96 oz. ready-to-drink bottle of chilled Tropical Punch Kool-Aid.  I love that it’s a large, convenient size for outings and gatherings too!  I grabbed some, along with a few Kool-Aid Mango packets, on my last trip to Walmart.
If you’d prefer, make a pitcher of Kool-Aid from the packet, following the instructions on the back, then follow the same method as detailed below.
You’ll want some fresh fruit.  Trust me…it makes the pops a million times yummier and helps them hold together better!  I used pineapple and strawberries.  To form the pops, you can either use molds, as shown above, or simply use disposable cups, because the fruit chunks will keep the sticks in place.
Dice your fruit into very small pieces.
Next, layer the fruit in the mold, filling nearly to the top.  Transfer Kool-Aid to a pitcher and pour into molds.  Insert sticks, then freeze until firm.  Gently jiggle the mold to ensure that no air bubbles remain.
To remove pops from molds or cups, run cool water over the outside while gently pulling on the stick.

Then hurry and enjoy before it melts!  Yum!

Who knew homemade Popsicles could be so easy?!
Kool-Aid Pops are a wonderful thing, but so is the fact that Jim Dillard, pro fisherman, could be coming to your local Walmart to help promote the new 96oz Kool-Aid bottles! There will be product giveaways, t-shirts, games, and more fun activities!
