I love this season of gift-giving and showing extra love towards friends and family. My kids enjoy participating in the sharing too, so I’m always looking for fun and inexpensive ideas for things they can give to their friends. My daughter’s in first grade and would like to hand out something special to all her classmates before the Christmas break. My son participates in seasonal activities and field trips with a little preschool group, so I thought these Rudolph’s Repair Kit Treats would be perfect for both occasions. I’m all about simple designs, so that’s what I went with.
These would also be cute as toppers on kids’ gifts!
I can’t tell you how many times my kids have watched Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer this month already. It’s such a cute show, and I love that it also gives me the chance to teach my kids that everyone is different, with varying personalities, tastes, and looks, but we’re all important. Different is good! If we were all clones of each other, life would be so boring! I think my kiddos are finally beginning to grasp this concept. 🙂
To make these fun Rudolph Treat Bags, I filled a mini zip bag (that I found in the jewelry section of Hobby Lobby. My bags measure 4 3/4″ tall x 3″ wide) with red Cherry Sour Candies to look like the famous reindeer’s signature noses. You could also use red skittles, red gumballs, etc. I printed out my labels (get them HERE). They’ll print four to a page.
I used a paper cutter to cut them out. Next, I antiqued the edges a little with some corduroy-colored distress ink. Then I hot-glued a mini red pom pom for his nose. Fill the bag with candies, seal, and staple the printable at the top.
So cute and super simple! The kids are sure to love them!
These would be great as holiday party favors too!

My kids are counting down the days ’til Santa comes, how about yours? The excitement is heavy in the air. I love this magical time of year!
