All opinions are 100% mine.I get extremely sick in my first trimester of pregnancy and sometimes into the second.  With my past two babies, I had to lay flat on the couch all day and couldn’t sit up without having to run to the bathroom.  It was a challenge to keep anything down.  I dreaded mealtimes because nothing ever sounded good to me and I didn’t want to even smell food.  Even the thought that others would want to eat was repulsive to me.
During those times, I basically just tried to do the bare minimum to keep my children alive.  I did feed them, but they ran around in their pajamas all day and watched way too many movies.  I’d literally count down the days until I could reach the 16 week mark and start feeling a little more like myself.
My husband was so sweet to feed and take care of the kids, even after a long day at work, while I was “serving my time”.  He’d come home each evening and ask me if anything sounded ok for dinner, and then start rattling off a list of possibilities.
I must say that there’s something about morning sickness that makes all the food items in your house sound awful.  When I couldn’t even stomach the idea of eating something at home, my husband would ask if there was anything he could go out and grab.  Without even thinking, every time, I would say “I need an Arby’s Roast Beef Sandwich”.   And yes, it was “need”.  🙂  You know the sandwich with the thinly sliced meat and the melty cheese oozing over the edges?  I couldn’t get enough of those things.  They really hit the spot, and I’m not exaggerating when I say that they actually gave me a reprieve from my nausea for a few hours after eating one.  Praise be to Arby’s for providing me with an amazing Roast Beef Sandwich when nothing else in the world sounded good.
