I had a light bulb moment the other day when I was shopping at one of my favorite places (the Dollar Tree). It doesn’t happen very often that I come up with an idea without the help of Pinterest, so I’ll toot my horn when I can. 🙂
I first saw the cute Easter Egg Picks and knew I needed to come up with a use for them. So I grabbed a wreath form and some green moss and this is the result!
I put it together in about 20 minutes or less. I love how bright and colorful it is! It reminds me of springtime, which I’m so looking forward to.
{MATERIALS}
All of these things can be found at the Dollar Tree (you’ll just need to fetch your hot glue gun)
Wreath form
Easter Egg Picks
Crafter’s/Florist’s Moss
Hot Glue Gun
- Grab your egg picks and pull off the ribbon on the bottom of the eggs. Using strong scissors or a craft knife, cut the wood off up to the egg, so you can’t see any of the dowel.
- Working in small sections, dispense hot glue onto the wreath form and place moss over the glued area. Do this all around the wreath until it’s all covered. Some of the moss will fall off as you’re gluing, but most will stick. The goal is to not be able to see any of the wreath when you’re done.
- Hot glue your eggs on the back and stick them onto the moss in equal increments around the wreath.
This is such a fun, inexpensive, and easy way to add a touch of Easter to your home!
