Simple, Inexpensive DIY St. Patrick’s Day Decor

Do you decorate for St. Patrick’s Day? I admit that I only have a single banner and maybe one more green piece to display.  But my kids and I love every chance we can get to spruce up the house and celebrate.  So I told them that every year we would add a few more things to our collection of knick knacks for the Lucky Day.
Even if you weren’t planning on sporting the green this time around, here are some fun and very simple ideas to tempt you to get started on your St. Patrick’s Day decorating! 🙂

I adore this simple yet classy St. Patty’s Day vignette from Chic on a Shoestring Decorating!

How easy would this colorful rainbow felt banner be to make?  Find out how over at Sweet Little Smoothie.

I’m still in love with Subway art, how about you? Find this one over at Eighteen25.

I heart this colorful vase centerpiece array from My Crafting Attic! It would be so easy to pull off!

Would you guess that this fantastic wreath is made of split peas?  It’s unbelievably simple to create!  Find out how at Love of Family and Home.

How about this adorable free printable “LUCKY” banner?  Find it at The Tomkat Studio.

I’m head-over-heels for this colorful mantel from Landee See Landee Do.

I made this cute newspaper banner last year.  Find out how to create your own here.

This Paper Shamrock Bouquet from Sweet and Lovely Crafts would be a cinch to re-create!

Every door needs to feel some love for each holiday too.  Find out how to make these adorable Four Leaf Clover Lollies at Lalalola Gifts.

Check out this super cool green Chain Garland from Hostess with the Mostess!  So clever and festive!

This burlap shamrock pillow is perfect!  Find out how to make it (with no sewing required) at The Tomkat Studio.

This Yarn Ball Wreath is probably the most difficult in today’s collection to put together, but I couldn’t resist adding it to the mix!  Isn’t it great?!? Find the tutorial on Heather and Evan.

I hope you’ve been inspired today to add a bit of green to your home!

Well just when I was thinking that I didn't have to decorate for St. Patty's this year, now my brain has kicked into full - on creative gear. Darn it! But thanks for the idea gathering! :)

I love all the March/St. Patrick's day ideas!
Your paper banner is adorable, and similar to one I just made, except I used pages out of a book. Loved the button detail on them, too.

I just recently completed my March Mantel complete with a no-sew burlap banner.
