Here’s My Story, Now Tell Me Yours!

Hi!  I’m Christine, the lady behind I Dig Pinterest.
So glad you stopped by!

I’m mom to three absolutely adorable kiddos and wife to an amazing hubby, who are my first loves.  My second love, other than chocolate, is Pinterest.  Pinterest provides a little “out” when I need a breather from my crazy but wonderful job as wife, mother, and taxi driver to the wonderful people shown below.

Because of Pinterest, I’ve wowed dinner crowds, entertained my children, potty trained a two year old in a day, and made more trinkets than my house can hold.

I’m one of those people who actually tries to think of things that can not get done for a while in the real world, so I can get to my “to do” list from the virtual world of Pinterest.

How did I ever live without it?

The question now is how do I live with it?  I’m having to re-learn time management, get accustomed to much fewer hours of sleep,  and I’m doing my best to keep at bay the strain that is put on my marriage when I ask (or tell) my husband to shelf the closets or to re-landscape the yard. 🙂

I want to be justified in thinking that I’m not the only one on this earth who actually does things from Pinterest (because I know that I’m not).
SO…
I want to hear your Pinterest success stories!!

Your submissions (sent to idigpinterest@gmail.com) should include:

  • A short description about you, of course including your first name and a quick run-down of how Pinterest has changed your life for the better.
  • A picture of YOUR project or product
  • A fun, precise, easy explanation of how you accomplished it, how long it took, what you used, total cost, if applicable, etc.  If you added your own flair, tell us about it!
  • A link to the original site, so we can give credit where it is deserved.
Submissions may be an amazing recipe, a fantastic craft, an improvement project that has made a world of difference in your home, a party you threw that was the envy of the Jones’ down the street,   Just use your imagination and feel free to submit things that are a little “out of the ordinary” too.

RULES:

  • It needs to be Pinterest-inspired.
  • Please don’t submit any pictures that you don’t want to show up on Pinterest.
  • I just want to hear about the “tried-and-true”, “honest-to-goodness”, amazing ideas that actually WORKED and ROCKED!  I’m shooting for the stars.
  • Depending on how many submissions I receive, I will post a couple every week.  I may edit them for content and length, so please don’t be offended.
Thanks for visiting!  I hope you’ll come back soon.**This site is in no way affiliated with or endorsed by Pinterest.

This is a great idea! My sister in law Brittney Springer sent me here to check out your blog and I love it so far! I have to say that reading this post made me want to immediately go and follow you on Pinterest, partially because of the increasing your breast milk supply comment. However, that aside I should be able to send you some submissions, I am an avid Pinterest user and have done a bunch of stuff from Pinterest. I will send you something when I have pictures and stuff together from one of my projects.

I'm on day 321 of 365 days of Pinterest. I started my blog for the same reason-I had so many things I was trying and I needed to keep track of it somehow! Most things have been a great success and then there have been others that weren't so much :) I just signed up to follow your blog-I'd love to have you drop by mine! Let me know if there's a particular post you think would be good for me to share with you. Every day is a Pinterest project :)
