Last year, I was inspired by this image that I pinned on Pinterest. It’s linked to an Etsy shop filled with tons of fun banners. I of course was unwilling to pay $24 (ridiculous!), so I opened a word program and made my own. I thought the phrase “Hugs & Kisses” would be cute. I printed them on cardstock, cut them out, then distressed the edges with pink ink. Lastly, I punched holes and strung each one with red ribbon leftover from Christmas.
Now, every year leading up to Valentine’s, I get to admire my work as I see it hanging in the archway leading to my kitchen. And the best part…I made it for only the cost of printer ink (since I already had the ribbon and pink stamp pad)…and it cost much less than $24!
