Are you finding the staples that you need at your local grocery store to create your meals? It’s difficult to find eggs, butter, and milk where I live. I hear people in other places are having a hard time locating rice and flour too. Luckily I stocked up a while back and have some in my food storage.
Right now I’m trying to only go to the grocery store once a week or less for the fresher items. Which makes meal planning very essential! I’m cooking from my cupboards and pantry as much as possible. We are still eating well! No one has complained yet. 🙂
I hope you’re cooking good things to eat and enjoying time with family too!
Here’s what we ate for dinner last week:
Pasta with sun-dried tomato alfredo sauce and store-bought garlic bread. We have pasta night once a week. It’s such a simple and delicious meal!
Pizza Rolls. My kids ask for these all the time! I use Rhodes rolls to make it even easier!
Crockpot Creamy Chicken and Rice. This is so easy and yummy and my entire family loves it!
Instant Pot Tomato Basil Bisque with homemade bread. This tastes like something you’d order at a restaurant! It’s one of our family’s most favorite soups ever!
Oven-Baked Pork Chops (brushed with olive oil and seasoned with Greek Seasoning), mashed potatoes and gravy, green salad and homemade dinner rolls
