White Chocolate Candy Corn Popcorn

My husband’s favorite snack is popcorn.  And you all know how much I like chocolate, so I combined the two the other day for a tasty weekend snack.  It made a ton, as you can see, so we shared some with our neighbor friends too.  The stuff was way too good to keep to ourselves.  I should start calling it Halloween crack corn. 🙂  It was really hard to exercise self control with a confection like this sitting on our counter.

I opted to just use sprinkles and candy corns.  In my opinion, they were the perfect add-ins and the popcorn was not short on sweet flavor.  I really liked the simpler look of it too.

Candy corns and white chocolate are a winning flavor combo.  Who would have thought?
Isn’t it pretty?  It’s a cinch to make too!
{WHITE CHOCOLATE
CANDY CORN POPCORN}

1 1/2 cups popcorn kernels
1 package (12 oz.) vanilla candy melts or 1 package (12 oz.) white chocolate chips
Halloween sprinkles
1 pkg. candy corns
Salt
Pop the corn.  Spread on a cookie sheet lined with wax or parchment paper, making sure to remove the un-popped kernels. Salt the popcorn.  Melt candy melts or chocolate chips in microwave in 30 second increments, stirring in between.  When completely melted, stir until smooth and drizzle over popcorn.  Immediately sprinkle with Halloween sprinkles and candy corns.  Let set completely.  Break up and enjoy!

You can also break it up, package in cellophane bags, then place in a fun Halloween mini bucket.  It’s a perfect neighbor gift!

    Yes! you probably did have to be compelled to sign for the package! I nearly incomprehensible that box as a result of the mail guy did not walk to our actual apt door- simply left a note voice communication he was there- at our community mail area. quite weird. Sorry you guys did not get it!
    So glad you liked the packaging!
