Apple Pork Chops

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can apple pie filling chopped to produce small apple pieces (21 oz.)
  • Boneless thin pork chops (6-8)
  • 1 box Stove Top Stuffing pork or chicken flavored 6 oz.
  • Salt and pepper

Method
 

  1. Spray a 9"x13" pan with non stick cooking spray. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Prepare the stuffing according to package directions.
  3. In a large skillet, brown the pork chops on both sides, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  4. Spread the apple pie filling in the bottom of the prepared pan. Place the browned pork chops on top in a single layer.
  5. Spread prepared stuffing mixture evenly over the top. Cover the pan with foil and bake for approximately 40 minutes, or just until pork chops are completely cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 160 degrees.
  6. Remove the foil for the last 5 to ten minutes of cook time.
