Hamburger Corn Casserole

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 large onion diced
  • 15 oz. can whole kernel corn drained
  • 10.5 oz can cream of chicken soup
  • 10.5 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c. full fat sour cream
  • 3/4 tsp. salt or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 3 heaping cups medium egg noodles cooked and drained
  • 1 c. breadcrumbs
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a large skillet, cook ground beef with onion while breaking it up, until meat is no longer pink and is lightly browned and onion is tender. Stir in the corn, cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, salt and pepper.
  3. Carefully stir in cooked egg noodles until completely coated. Prepare the breadcrumb topping by stirring together breadcrumbs and melted butter. Pour noodle mixture into an 8x8" casserole dish, sprinkle evenly with breadcrumbs and bake for approximately 35-45 minutes, or until mixture is bubbly and hot.
