Sour Patch Kids Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Box 16.25 oz. white cake mix
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 tsp. lemon extract
  • 1 c. finely chopped Sour Patch Kids candy

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and prepare cookie sheets by spraying them with nonstick baking spray or lining them with nonstick baking mats.
  2. In the bowl of an electric mixer, mix together cake mix, vegetable oil, egg, milk and lemon extract until combined. Stir in Sour Patch Kids candy by hand.
  3. Scoop or form the dough into 1 1/2" balls and place at least 2" apart on the cookie sheets. Press the dough balls down with the palm of your hand, place in the oven and bake for approximately 8 to 10 minutes. Allow them to cool on the cookie sheets for a few minutes before removing them to a cooling rack to cool completely. Store in an airtight container.
