Cherry White Chocolate-Dipped Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Box 15.25 oz Cherry Cake Mix (I used Betty Crocker Delights)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 c. butter softened
  • 1/2 tsp. almond extract
  • 4 tsp. maraschino cherry juice the liquid that comes in the jar with the cherries
  • 1 c. white chocolate chips melted
  • Holiday sprinkles

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and lightly grease cookie sheets or line them with a nonstick baking mat. Add cake mix, egg, butter, almond extract and cherry juice to the bowl of an electric mixer and mix until incorporated.
  • Scoop or roll dough into 1 1/2" balls and use the flat bottom of a cup to press down each dough ball until it's flat. Bake for 8-9 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool, then dip half of each cookie in melted white chocolate and add sprinkles. Let the chocolate set (if you want to speed this up, place them in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes). Serve.
