Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line cookie sheets with nonstick baking mats or lightly spray them with nonstick cooking spray.
In the bowl of an electric mixer, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, white sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add melted chocolate chips and mix until incorporated, scraping down the sides in between.
In a separate bowl, stir together flour, baking cocoa, baking soda and salt. Add to wet mixture with the crushed Oreos and 3/4 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips and mix until incorporated.
Roll or scoop into rounded 1 1/2" dough balls, roll balls in additional crushed Oreo cookies and place on prepared cookie sheets at least 2" apart.
Flatten dough balls partially with the palms of your hands, then bake for approximately 9 minutes.
Let sit on cookie sheets for a few minutes before carefully removing to a cooling rack to cool completely.
