Christmas Magic Dip

Ingredients
  

  • 2 c. heavy cream 1 pint, whipped stiff
  • 1/2 c. powdered sugar
  • 8 maraschino cherries very finely diced
  • 2/3 c. finely crushed peppermint candies
  • 2/3 c. walnuts pecans chopped
  • 1 1/2 c. mini white marshmallows
  • 1-2 drops red food coloring optional to enhance color

Method
 

  1. In an electric mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, whip the cream with 1/2 c. powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Fold in diced maraschino cherries, crushed peppermint candies, chopped walnuts or pecans, mini marshmallows, and food coloring.
  2. Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Serve with vanilla wafers, graham crackers or other cookies. Garnish with additional peppermint pieces, if desired.
