Heath Bits Brickle Drop Cookies

Christine of I Dig Pinterest

Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter softened
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. packed light brown sugar
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 1/2 c. All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 t. baking soda
  • 2 t. baking powder
  • 1 c. Heath Bar Toffee Bits I like the kind that are covered in chocolate
  • 1 c. chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.  Beat butter, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt in the large bowl of a mixer until blended.  Add eggs.  Beat well.  Stir together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and gradually add to creamed mixture just until blended.  Stir in toffee bits and chocolate chips.  Dough will be slightly sticky, but form into balls as best as you can, or drop by heaping tablespoons and onto a greased cookie sheet
  • **When the dough is halfway gone, add about 1/8 c. flour and stir. The dough at the bottom of the bowl tends to be stickier and needs a little more flour so the last cookies don't come out flat.
  • Bake 8-10 minutes.  Let sit at least 5 minutes on the pan before removing to a cooling rack.
  • Enjoy!
