Slow Cooker Creamy Chicken and Rice

Ingredients
  

  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • 1 8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 envelope Italian dressing mix dry (.6 oz)
  • 1 can 10.5 oz Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 1 cup milk 2% or whole
  • 2 1/2 cups white rice cooked

Method
 

  1. Spray the inside of the slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker.
  3. Mix the sauce ingredients (softened cream cheese, Italian dressing mix, cream of chicken soup and milk) together using a hand mixer or an electric mixer. Pour the sauce evenly over the chicken breasts.
  4. Place the lid on the slow cooker and allow it to cook for 4-5 hours on high or 6-7 on low. When the chicken is cooked through, remove it from the slow cooker, shred it on a plate and stir it back into the mixture.
  5. Serve over cooked white rice.
