Show someone you care this holiday season with this Warm & Cozy themed Christmas gift! This is sure to encourage the receiver to snuggle up on the sofa, relax, and turn on a favorite Christmas movie, while sipping hot chocolate! Sounds heavenly, right?
There’s nothing to me that says, “It’s Christmas time” quite like snow flakes, Jack Frost nipping at your nose, yummy treats and fragrances! So what better gift to receive than something to keep the home smelling festive, while you stay warm and enjoy some delicious goodies?
A little while ago, when I was at Big Lots shopping for Halloween decor I came across an adorable Santa wax warmer, so of course I had to snag one for myself before they were gone. 🙂
Then, after realizing I was being selfish, I went back a few weeks later and grabbed one for my friend too, to include in the perfect Christmas present!
Plaid to me is the essence of “warm and cozy”, so I tied it in with the cutest gift box and the snuggly plush throw. I added some fuzzy socks, the fragrance warmer and some Gingerbread Sugar Cookie wax melts, some holiday candies, and a hot chocolate mug and mix set for fillers.
Then I finished it off with a fun gift tag, which you can download and print below.
Big Lots has everything you need to make this season bright with the perfect gifts for all your family, friends and neighbors! All at great quality and value too! I found all the essentials for today’s warm and cozy gift, along with many other exciting items that were not on my list there. 🙂 I just couldn’t say “no” to some adorable mini loaf pans that I know will come in handy during my Christmas baking.
The employees were so helpful to point me in the right direction when I was looking for each of the components.
It’s so easy to put together the perfect “warm and cozy” holiday gift that is sure to be loved and put to good use! Let me show you how.
Begin by printing your tags on white cardstock, cutting one out, punching a hole in the top and threading some ribbon through. Tape it to the inside of the box so it hangs nicely over the side. You can secure it to the box by adding tape on the back of the tag if you’d like. Stack the gift box inside the lid. Add your plush throw in the back for height. If you want to make the items sit taller in the box, go ahead and crumple tissue paper in the bottom before adding everything.
Now fill it in with the hot cocoa gift set, some fuzzy socks…
…the cute Santa fragrance warmer and scented wax melts…
…and then add the candy bags wherever you can. It should all fit nice and snuggly! At this point, you can wrap the entire box in cellophane with a bow, or you can leave it open, like I did, so the items can be shown off in all their wonderful glory. 🙂
And now when the weather outside is frightful, the lucky recipient of this gift can stay toasty warm inside with yummies galore! Happy gift giving!
