Decorating for Valentine’s Day is easy, cute, and personal with this Photo Letterboard!
I recently purchased a letterboard and I’m having the best time with it! So are my kids. 🙂 We love to display silly or loving messages for each other on it throughout the week.
I figured I might as well put it to use as a Valentine’s decoration! It’s so simple to dress up with family photos, felt and burlap hearts strung on a twine banner! I think I’m going to do a version of this for every holiday!
Valentine’s Day is very dear to my heart because the people I love are worth celebrating! My family is my world and I’m a huge fan of plastering photos of us all around the house, but especially for special occasions like this!
I printed off the cutest mini photos to adorn this board on my new HP Sprocket 2-in-1 printer! It seriously took a matter of seconds! I called up the HP Sprocket App and selected a few adorable photos from my smartphone, and, before I knew it, here they came out the printer! You can also choose photos from social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram to print instantly!
Plus, the printer is so conveniently compact and portable, making it perfect for your purse or even your back pocket! Possibly one of its best attributes is that it doesn’t need ink! It uses ZINK® Zero Ink® technology, so the color will just show up on your photo paper as it makes its way out of the printer. Just like magic!
Annnnndddd…it gets even better! It’s a camera too! Now, when we’re out and about creating memories together as a family, I can keep a fun record as we go, with 2″ x 3″ photos! But, for now I’ll just admire this sweet display with photos of the ones I hold dear.
You can easily create one yourself! You’ll just need some scrap burlap, red felt, twine, mini wooden clothespins, some miniature photos, and a letterboard!
I first added my message to the letterboard. Then I cut out four felt and burlap hearts, and attached two pieces of twine to the top and bottom back of the letterboard with tape. Then I clipped my photos and hearts onto the twine with the clothespins. That’s it!
This is one of my most favorite projects to date! Possibly because of the people on it. 🙂 Simply interchange the photos and the message to decorate for any holiday!
I hope you have a wonderful Valentine’s Day with the ones you love!
