Give your home a charming, unique touch with personalized throw pillows! They bring beauty to sofas, beds and more!
We recently purchased new leather sofas and I’ve been trying to find the perfect decor pillows to adorn them! I was looking for something a little different than your run-of-the-mill couch pillows. It’s just fun to have some variety sometimes!
I’ve always loved the phrase, “Life is a beautiful ride”. It keeps me grounded when times are hard and encourages me to enjoy the wonderful moments (whether big or small) that make life worth living. It can be easy to adopt the “I’ll be happy when…” mentality (trust me, I’ve been there), but I know that I am at my best when I am content with the way things are and not wishing for this or that to be different.
Especially as a mom, some days can feel like a roller coaster ride of crazy emotions. One second things are going so well and we’re laughing and playing together, and then the next, there’s spilled milk, tantrums and sibling drama.
I know that my time with my kids being in the home is fleeting. Every time I go out with my children, an elderly individual tells me to “enjoy them” because they grow up so fast. I’m realizing that more and more with each passing day.
I’m a firm believer that happiness doesn’t depend on what you experience in life but how you choose to experience it.
So because I wanted a daily reminder to make the most of whatever comes my way, I decided to customize a pillow with this special phrase. It’s a great reminder to stay positive!
This project was so easy to pull off with the help of Craftables! They offer heat transfer vinyl in a large variety of colors that is perfect for creating custom pillows like this! Simply make up the design and cut on your craft cutting machine, then iron on to a pillow case or cover!
My living room just got a lot more happy-looking! This new decor piece really makes me smile!
What design or phrase would you love to imprint on a pillow?
