Last night will go down in history! At least in our home. It was the first time (maybe in years) that I was able to sit down to a warm meal at the dinner table and not get up one single time to pour a drink, get the sauce, or divvy out more food. It was made possible by my youngest son taking a late nap. 🙂 With four kids, this pretty much never happens! It was quite amazing, haha! And you can bet I thoroughly savored and enjoyed the moment while it lasted.

You know what else is incredible? When those midday munchies hit and there’s something yummy within arm’s reach. I don’t know about you, but I really look forward to the 3:00 hour, right after picking up the kids from school, when everyone’s “hangry” and we can reward ourselves with some delicious sustenance!

In this new year, since I’m working on being more organized (especially since it doesn’t come naturally to me), I decided it would be a great idea to put together a bin of goodies where the family could have easy access when the stomachs start growling. I’m trying to be more intentional about making sure everything has a set place in the house. I figure these delicious items are all pretty important to us, so they earned a spot in the cute wooden crate I just purchased. I love that it’s so convenient and we can easily tote it in the car with us or grab it from the pantry when we need it.
