It’s been a while since I’ve posted any updates on our 1950’s home (read my story here). The last major project we accomplished was the kitchen renovation and that did a great job of depleting our “Home Updates” budget for a while. So while we work on replenishing it, we’re doing very minor, inexpensive things like painting and adding moulding. Our built-in shoe shelves were just completed in our mud area, and I’m all heart eyes for the new arrangement. No more cluttery floor! 
This past weekend we worked on putting together a really amazing charging station for our electronic devices. I can’t wait to show you the exciting end results in the coming weeks! About a month ago, we installed hooks for coats and backpack organization. I love that it’s right by the door where the kids walk in from school, so they know to immediately put their belongings in their place before heading to the kitchen for a snack. 
We’re carefully saving our dollars and pennies so we can hopefully remodel our master bathroom this year. Fingers crossed!
It is in need of a complete overhaul. I’ve been so bothered by the hard water-stained, cracked, pink grouted shower (eew) that I’ve been tempted on more than one occasion to start ripping out its tiles. But then I have to convince myself that good things come to those who wait. Patience has never been my virtue. 🙂
