20 Peppermint Desserts for the Holidays

Now that Thanksgiving has passed, ’tis the season for peppermint desserts!  Oh how I love that festive flavor.  It just screams Christmas.  The red and white colors that usually accompany it make such a pretty statement for a holiday party or gathering.
There are so many fun red and white candies available now to spruce up cookies, brownies, cakes, in tons of creatively delicious ways.  You would never catch me eating a peppermint candy cane by itself, when crushed up as a topping, used as a mix-in for a cookie, or powdered to flavor a whipped cream or frosting, it’s nothing but tasty in my book.
Have you tried Hershey’s Candy Cane Kisses?  Every trip I take to the grocery store after Halloween is over, I scour the candy aisle for those heavenly morsels.  And those Andes Peppermint Crunch Chips?  Heaven.  The bottom line is, I have zero self control when it comes to holiday candy, but I’m almost not ashamed, because seriously-things that taste that good just deserve to be enjoyed.  They only come around annually, right?  It’s the most wonderful time of the year for many reasons, but the seasonal candy (cough, cough-chocolate) is one of them.
I’ve put together a roundup up of over 20 Peppermint Dessert recipes…straight from my Christmas Pinterest board.  I don’t think you could go wrong with any one of them.  I want an excuse to make every last one.  My neighbor Christmas goodie plates are sure to boast many of these finds.
These confections are sure to be as yummy as they are pretty.
