For the final day of “Family-Friendly Food Week”, and as a weekend bonus, I’m featuring these yummy Layered Tostadas. Sometimes I like a little change-up from the typical taco. I get bored easily. I was perusing Pinterest one day and found this genius idea. It has all the deliciousness of a taco, but it’s bake-able and just fun. Layered Tostadas make an appearance at our dinner table at least once a month now.
{BAKED, LAYERED TOSTADAS}
Instructions: Layer tostada shells with refried beans, guacamole, sour cream, taco meat, cheese, tomatoes, olives, and green onions, or whatever your heart desires. Bake at 350 degrees until warmed through (about 20 minutes) and the cheese is melted. Top with lettuce, salsa, taco sauce, nacho cheese, etc, and eat!
This is a simple, tasty dinner that your family is sure to enjoy!
