A decadent fudge brownie dessert sandwich filled generously with Edwards® S’mores Creme Pie and rolled in graham cracker pieces. This phenomenal creation will rock your world!
S’mores are something that people typically enjoy in the summer time. However, when a dessert is this exquisite, I wonder why it has to be reserved for warm weather occasions? I’m here to change that today!!
I’m not kidding or exaggerating when I say that you will be craving these suckers ALL. YEAR. LONG. You’re going to want to serve these at every birthday party, work or retirement event, and graduation celebration, just to name a few. And, each place where they make a grand appearance, they will receive nothing but rave reviews! We’re talking, the kind of praise that follows you wherever you go. Like, you’ll become famous just because you made these. You’ll forever be known as “that person who brought the incredible Brownie S’mores Creme Sandwiches to that one party that one time”.
And you’ll be expected to bring them them to everything under the sun from there on out. So, be prepared. 🙂
It all begins with the most fudge-y homemade brownies that ever existed, that are then smothered in a chopped Edwards® S’mores Pie, sandwiched with another brownie piece, then pressed with chopped graham cracker chunks. The rest is history…or at least these sandwiches will be history in no time, because the remains will be sitting contentedly in your tummy doing a happy dance. 🙂
I’ve always been in love with Edwards® pies, but this dessert takes “delicious” to a whole new level! I mean, Brownies + Pie=Out of this World!
Edwards® pies have a “New Look, Same Decadent Taste”, so be sure to watch for them in their new packaging in the frozen pies section at Walmart.
To make things even better, you get to cut and dice this gorgeous, delightful pie (while sampling, of course) into about a hundred pieces and then spread it between two slabs of homemade brownie, before cutting it into individual, delectable sections.
Whoever thought to combine marshmallows, graham cracker and chocolate was pure genius!
Each indulgent bite is like taking a trip to heaven and back! It will seriously never get old. Just look at that dense, fudge-like brownie and that oozing S’mores Creme Pie filling!
I’ve never been one to need a good excuse to stuff my face with sweet things. Any day is a great day for s’mores!
I don’t know about you, but if s’mores are just for summer time, I want it to be summer all year round! 🙂
These are not only completely impressive to look at (I think I could gawk at them all day), but the experience your taste buds will have is unforgettable.
Here’s how to make them:
Brownies S’mores Creme Sandwiches
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup 1 1/2 sticks salted butter, sliced
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated white sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 large eggs
- 2 Tbsp. milk 2% or greater
- 1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup baking cocoa
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- scant 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. corn starch
- Edwards S'mores Pie you may not need the entire thing, thawed
- 1 c. graham crackers chopped coarsely
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, line a 9?x13? cake pan with foil, allowing it to come over the edges, then coat foil with nonstick cooking spray.
- For the brownies, in a large microwave-safe bowl, melt butter and chocolate chips together in 30 second increments, stirring between. Stir mixture until smooth. Quickly whisk in (by hand) brown sugar, white sugar, vanilla, eggs, and milk, just until incorporated (don’t over-mix or brownies will be tough and lose their nice texture).
- In a separate bowl, stir together flour, baking cocoa, baking powder, salt and corn starch. Add to chocolate mixture and stir just until incorporated (again, don’t over-mix!). Pour and spread mixture into prepared pan and bake for approximately 16 minutes, or just until a toothpick comes out mostly clean, with a few moist crumbs on it. You don’t want the toothpick to come out super gooey or completely clean, but moist crumbs are what you’re shooting for. Don’t over bake or they’ll lose their fudgy texture.
- Let brownies cool in pan on a cooling rack for 20 minutes, then place in the fridge for a few hours to allow them to get firm and dense.
- Cut the pan of brownies in half so you'll have two large pieces of brownie to make a large sandwich with.
- Allow the Edwards pie to thaw, chop it into pieces, then spread, as best you can, it across one brownie section. Place the remaining brownie section on top and gently press down.
- Wrap it in foil and freeze for about three hours, or until the filling has firmed up. Use a sharp knife to carefully slice it into sandwich sections.
- Press graham cracker pieces onto the sides of each sandwich and serve immediately or keep in the freezer, covered, until ready to serve.
Please make these and then post a picture on social media, tagging me, because I’m going to be SO jealous! I wish I still had some left to devour.
Enjoy!
