TRANSFORMERS Construct-Bots: A Child’s Christmas Dream Come True

This is a sponsored post brought to you by Mom it Forward and Hasbro.  All opinions are 100% my own.
My kids are getting antsy for the magical Christmas morning to arrive, how about yours?  They’ll wake before dawn (like they always do) and bound down the stairs to find the bottom of the tree bursting with surprises contained in festively-wrapped packages, tied up with bows.
They sat on Santa’s lap the other day and recited their “I would likes” to the jolly old man.  They’re on his nice list (as of today), so now they’ll just wait and hope he’ll make it down our chimney with their Christmas dream items in his giant red sack.
It’s also the time of year when the doorbell rings nearly every day and the kids race to be the first to grab the package that’s left on the mat.  They know, however, to ask mommy and daddy before opening anything.  So last week, after we gave permission, my son tore open a delivery box to find this….!  A TRANSFORMERS Construct-Bots surprise!

His face says it all.  He was ecstatic.
It’s only one of the coolest toys ever!
My daughter quickly joined in and begged us to let her begin putting it together.

It came with two TRANSFOMERS Robots…Optimus Prime (in the red storage tray) and Megatron (in the purple storage tray)….perfect for my duo of very excited children.

My six-year-old daughter was able to construct most of it by herself, with a little coaching from her dad, and a very helpful pamphlet, complete with step-by-step color illustrations.  The 67 pieces came together quite quickly and simply.  Each robot comes with a frame, armor, weapons, and accessory parts.  All parts are fully-interchangeable between TRANSFORMERS Construct-Bots figures, so the kids can create their own custom TRANSFORMERS characters!  The creative options are almost endless!

Constructing him was half the fun!

Concentrating on the next instruction.  Almost there!

Adding the final touches.

And…voila…done!  She was proud of her awesome Optimus Prime.

The process was about the same to create the amazing Megatron held by my daughter here.  TRANSFORMERS to the rescue!
It was difficult to capture a clear picture, because Optimus Prime never rests!

Then….with daddy’s help, the robot warriors were quickly converted into car mode, amazingly without removing any parts, where they teamed up against the enemies that were invading their turf!  After transforming them the first time with instructions, their dad was able to easily do it from memory on later occasions.

The Construct-Bots come with weapon pieces that can be inserted into the cars or robots to ready them for battle.  My son’s about to shoot from his cool vehicle here.
If only the imaginative conversations could be audible through this picture. Optimus Prime and Megatron were extremely busy at their bunk (I mean home world) hangout, preparing for and engaging in attacks.  In other words, the kids played happily together for a very long while. 🙂
Those rivals don’t stand a chance against Optimus Prime and Megatron!  The robots saved the day and the universe on this very successful mission. 🙂
These seriously are the coolest toys for boys and girls-young and young at heart (my husband even slipped in some play time).  🙂  Because you’re never too old for this kind of fun!
Collect all the sets of TRANSFORMERS Construct-Bots, and watch the kids have an absolute blast!  I can think of tons of boys and girls that would love to open a pair of these on Christmas morning!
