Build the Best Great American Cheeseburger with the Blippar App

To say I’m a huge fan of cheeseburgers would be an understatement.  Are you the same? I love to pile them high with toppings to the point where it’s a trick to take a bite.  It’s the personal challenge I accept when I make a burger, and, if I do say so myself, I do a great job of meeting it. 🙂

One of my fondest memories growing up was when my mom made a burger so tall that she literally had to tweak and turn her head and almost pop her jaw out of place to wrap her mouth around it.  🙂  She got frustrated at first and then it turned into an outright determination to conquer that yummy thing.  And conquer she did.  It had us kids rolling on the floor, laughing ’til we cried.  So building the best Great American Cheeseburger is in my blood.

When I get tired of the “same old burger” I look for ways to shake things up a bit with new toppings, stuffings, sauces, better buns, and such.  So when I recently discovered the Blippar app, you can imagine how excited I was to find the plethora of burger recipes therein.  Let me quickly tell you how to use it.  It’s SO easy, you’re going to be utterly amazed.

1. Download the FREE Blippar app from your smartphone’s mobile app store
2. Swipe the screen to get started
3. Sign in or skip it and get started Blipping!
4. Select a favorite Kraft Cheese product to scan. The Blippar app has built-in image recognition capabilities that will retrieve Great American Cheeseburger recipes after the Kraft Cheese product is scanned.

I first scanned the bag of Kraft Shreds while shopping at Walmart, and it worked once, but because of limited Wi-Fi access there, it’s best to do this at home or somewhere with a strong internet connection.

Kraft Naturals Slices and Kraft Singles are also fun to Blip!  Blipping is surprisingly satisfying and addicting all at the same time.  You should try it.  🙂

After the Blip, you can click on the “View Recipes” tab and scroll through a myriad of mouthwatering burger photos.  Then just click “View Recipe”, and you’ll be taken to the complete recipe for that particular cheeseburger.  You can also save the recipe.

While I was at Walmart, there was even an in-store display devoted to all things grilling such as an array of Kraft barbecue sauces.  I love summertime, don’t you?

Guess what else I got to do at Walmart during my eventful trip?
