Kids in the Kitchen: Pumpkin & Mummy Mini Pizzas

My kids are kind of crazy about Halloween.  What can I say?  They take after their mother.  🙂

They’ve been begging to join in on the Halloween fun for my blog, so we decided to make some cute and festive pumpkin & mummy mini pizzas.  I’ve said before and I still believe that everything’s cuter in mini form. Don’t you think so?

What’s more adorable than a little pizza that looks like a pumpkin or mummy?  Not much. And they taste great too!

Want to make some?

Assemble your toppings…we used orange peppers for the outer pumpkin,
olives for eyes, string cheese for the mummy wrap, and chopped green onions for pumpkin stems.
You’ll also need sauce and a little extra grated cheese to fill in the pumpkins.
Spray your cookie sheet with cooking spray.
Make and roll out your dough.  I used THIS fantastic recipe.
Bake at 475 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
Next, use a cup to cut circles out of the dough.
Spread the sauce on and then comes the really fun part!
Add the toppings to create fun pumpkins and mummies!
The mummies look a little less like mummies after baking, but they’re still so cute.
Kids love them!I love involving my kiddos in the cooking, don’t you?

These are super cute! My kids are a bit older and I know they would still get a kick out of it. Pinning to remember in October.

These are adorable! I don't think my son is quite old enough to understand these yet, but I'd love to try them for him to eat anyway! :)
