Create these simple Frankie Cakes with the kids for a tasty Halloween treat! They’re so cute and festive and come together in a snap!
My kids have been asking what Halloween will look like this year. Circumstances are such that a few things may be different from what we’re used to. Although I don’t have all the answers, I do know that we will still be celebrating big as a family. Halloween is our favorite holiday, so we certainly won’t skip it! We have some fun family Halloween traditions like a themed dinner on the evening of the 31st, as well as pumpkin carving and enjoying special treats.
I know we’ll be making these Frankie Cakes again as part of our family Halloween festivities! Aren’t they adorable? We had so much fun frosting and decorating the Entenmann’s® Minis Crumb Cakes to look like friendly Frankensteins. This is such a fun activity for the kiddos! We enjoyed these for a Halloween movie night treat! They’re so perfect for a night in watching a spooky show!
We love Entenmann’s® Minis in all varieties! They’re individually wrapped for perfect freshness and portion control. They are so soft, moist, and delicious! It’s a high-quality snack for the whole family to enjoy! Lucky for us, and you, these are available nationwide! Right now earn $.50 on Entenmann’s® Minis products on Ibotta, click here for the offer.
We purchased our Entenmann’s® Minis Crumb Cakes at Walmart and grabbed some Entenmann’s® Minis Cherry Snack Pies and Entenmann’s® Minis Pound Cakes while we were there because, why not? 🙂 With these interesting times we’re living in, Walmart Online Grocery service and delivery is a great option! Here’s what you’ll need to make these adorable little guys:
- Entenmann’s® Minis Crumb Cakes
- White Frosting tinted green
- Candy eyes
- Chocolate jimmies
- Black frosting in a zip-top bag with a tiny snip in the corner for piping a thin line
- Straight pretzels dipped in chocolate that has set up in the fridge
To decorate, first, insert your chocolate pretzels into the sides of your Entenmann’s® Minis Crumb Cake. Next, frost it, then add chocolate jimmies to the top portion for the hair. Then add on two candy eyes and pipe on thin lines of black frosting for the nose, mouth, and face stitches.
