Become the master of easy and yummy meals with this family-pleasing Red Baron pizza and Creamy Onion Veggie Dip dinner! Combined, it’s foolproof sustenance!
I’ll be the first to admit that when it comes to motherhood, every day is a work in progress for me. There’s no “one size fits all” when it comes to raising kids. Sometimes we have to bolt out of the house with mismatched clothing and unkempt hair, ten minutes late. Battles must be selected carefully. And, if there’s one thing I’ve come to learn about myself over the last decade, it’s that I make an excellent referee. 🙂
The floor may be cluttered with toys and the table plastered with colorful art projects and supplies, but I’m loving every minute of it! Because I choose to embrace these imperfect moments, knowing that all too soon the house will be immaculate and quiet when my kids are grown. I choose to “own” motherhood, both the good and the hard days that come with it! Will you join me?!
This is exactly why I am never ashamed to pull out a Red Baron pizza, when the evening calls for it. Would you believe that my kids asked if I’d made it myself? I was truthful in my response, although completely proud of the fact that I turned on that oven and pulled out a baked-to-perfection masterpiece of crust, sauce, cheese and pepperoni! My son’s trying to perfect his skills with that trick deck of cards, but even mom can be a magician!

Don’t miss out on this great Ibotta offer too!
Of course we can’t leave Walmart without stocking up on “pizza night” necessities. We always grab a Red Baron® Brick Oven Crust Pepperoni Pizza for the kiddos and another, such as, Red Baron® Classic Crust, with lots of toppings (4 Meat is where it’s at!).
Because back-to-school means utter chaos and I certainly don’t need to add any gray hairs to my ever-growing collection, some nights beg for Red Baron pizza! It’s always a hit with the whole family! I like to serve an easy side with it, because who has time for complicated dishes when there’s reading and spelling practice to be done? My kids are still at the age where they require a great deal of supervision when it comes to homework.
So I whipped up a creamy and completely delicious (3 ingredient, I might add) onion dip, chopped some veggies and called it a meal! And, boy, was it a good one!

Creamy Onion Dip

- 1 1/2 cups full fat sour cream
- 4 oz. cream cheese softened well
- 1 envelope onion soup mix dry straight from the packet
- Chives fresh, chopped or dry for garnish
- Veggies for dipping

- Stir sour cream, cream cheese and soup mix together really well, cover and store in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Garnish with chives before serving. Serve with veggies such as broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, mini peppers and cherry tomatoes.
This mama likes to celebrate every little victory that she can. Like half an hour with no sibling drama or a hot dinner on the table in around 20 minutes, complete with veggies on the side!
