Hoppy Easter Treat Jar Gift with Silhouette Print & Cut

I’m so excited to share a fun and very simple Hoppy Easter Treat Jar Gift Idea with you today using the #printandcut feature on the Silhouette machine!

Isn’t it pretty?  The pastel colors just scream spring.

I want to dig right in.  🙂  Easter candy (especially the chocolate variety) is a huge weakness of mine.  How about those Peeps?  Love ’em or hate ’em?  I don’t particularly enjoy eating them, but I think they’re super cute!

These would be perfect for teacher and neighbor gifts!

{SUPPLIES}

Glass jar (I found mine at Target)
Easter candy
Twine
Silhouette Printable White Sticker Paper

Begin by creating your design in Silhouette Studio.  I purchased a design from the Silhouette shop and then used the “fill” option to color the text, bunnies and the background of the circle.  I had to first “ungroup” the items, then I created my design and clicked “group” to make each circle one piece.

Be sure to set your paper size to 8 1/2″x11″.  I learned from my mistake. 🙂
Select “Show Registration Marks” in the registration marks options panel.
Place your images where you’d like them on the page, then send it to your home printer by clicking on the printer icon in Silhouette Studio.
Next, place the page on your cutting mat and feed it into your Silhouette machine.  Be sure to select “Silhouette Printable White Sticker Paper” and adjust the blade as indicated.
Click “Cut” and the machine will automatically detect where to cut based on the registration marks.  This feature is really great for cutting out large quantities of things (it saved me a lot of time), or more intricate designs.
Remove the design, peel off the backing, and attach the cute circles to your filled jars!

Ta da!  Such a fun and “spring-y” sentiment!  The receiver is sure to love it!
