Reader Submission: Lego Birthday Party

Jenni is here today giving us the details on a fun Lego Party that she threw for her son’s birthday!  I love colorful parties!

Take it away, Jenni!

—
My son wanted a Lego themed birthday
party, so after shopping around on Pinterest, I found some great ideas to use as models.

Crunchy Catholic Momma had cute party bags, as shown below…
…and a simple, but cute Lego counting game.

I loved this Lego napkin holder on Catch my Party.

And the Lego head containers at
Trend Hunter were adorable.

Here’s how my version turned out.

I made a few changes from my inspiration pictures.  I used bigger jars that we found at Hobby Lobby for the Lego heads.

And I modified the napkin holder.  It was
actually one of the most complimented elements of the party.
One of the Lego heads became the
collection container for guesses on the Lego counting game.

I also used smaller party bags and
tied them shut with a ribbon since I wanted them closed.

The cake was made by a bakery.  We just
brought them the Legos and they did the rest.

We finished off the decorations with
some homemade Lego chocolates and Lego candies that we bought online.

What a great party!  Thanks so much for sharing, Jenni!

Oh man! I wish I'd seen that Lego napkin holder when I threw my kids a Lego party last year! I made a wreath for the front door out of Legos. Fail! It broke when the first guest arrived and slammed the door shut! Ha ha!

I love all the ideas! We have two girls who are big Lego fans. I had hoped one of them would have a Lego party, but thus far American Girl parties have won out. Thanks so much for coming by and linking up! I hope to see you again next week.
