16 Thanksgiving Tablescape Ideas {for Adults & Kids}

As I mentioned in my 18+ Fun Thanksgiving Traditions for Kids post a few days ago, we’re hosting Thanksgiving feast this year.  There will just be four adults, including my husband and myself, and only four kids in attendance.  I’m planning on pulling out my daughter’s little tea table that seats four, line it with some brown craft or butcher paper, throw on a handful of crayons, mini pumpkins, and maybe some free printables, which you’ll find if you scroll down.  The adorable Turkey Krispies Treats are sure to make an appearance there too.
So that covers the kiddos, but I’m still unsure on what to do for the adult table.  I’m all about simple decor when it comes to throwing a party or hosting a gathering.  There’s going to be plenty on my mind already with making sure that I don’t burn the turkey, mashing the potatoes to a nice creamy consistency, and baking the rolls to perfection.  And I’m always worried that there won’t be enough food.  Do you do that too?  There’s not much worse than attending a party where the sustenance runs out and you aren’t able to get your fill.  For that to happen on Thanksgiving of all days would just be a crime.  🙂
With that said, I want my table decor to be clean-looking, inexpensive and pretty.  There’s so much that can be done with just a few pumpkins, some burlap and a few candles.  I hope you find some ideas here today that you can use to create your own simple Thanksgiving Tablescape!
