Fabulous Ideas for Using a Bookcase in Multiple Ways and Rooms

Remember my Patriotic Bookcase from a few months ago? Well, I decided to shake things up a bit and take the same beautiful piece of furniture and use it in a different room, with a different function.

I figured it was a perfect place to display my pretty glass dishware that has been hidden behind cupboard doors up until this point. What do you think?

I love it when decor has function as well as appeal. I didn’t have to spend a penny to decorate my shelves because I left that part up to my lovely dish collection and a few other things that I already had!

We moved the ficus tree that used to be there in the corner and replaced it with this beauty! It really opened up the room and because I could stare at those beautiful plates, cups, bowls, and cake stands all day, the change was a very welcome one!

I added in a few other decor items for some pops of color. I just adore my little red fire engine.

This perfect bookcase from Sauder can be used in so many different ways! I’m a huge fan of its versatility, especially since I’m known to change my mind often. 🙂

I also played around with using it as a bookcase, like it was intended, with an intermixing of family photos.

This is another great option! Those books are too cute to be tucked away in a closet.

I could literally go on and on about the many uses for this perfect bookcase. It’s a wonderful thing!

After seeing it, my friend suggested it would be great in a bathroom with rolled towels, toiletries in pretty glass jars, and nautical or beach decor! Brilliant!

Here’s the same piece all jazzed up for Independence Day, as you may have seen in my post a few months ago. I’m thinking I’ll utilize it for some fall decor and then possibly Halloween items soon. 🙂
