Halloween Snack Cups

These fun, treat-filled Frankenstein Halloween Snack Cups made with NABISCO Go-Paks! are sure to be a hit at your party or just as an after-school treat!
It’s no secret how much I love Halloween.  In fact, I’d go so far as to call it an obsession.  But I’d like to think it’s a good obsession, because it leads me to create adorable things like today’s Frankenstein snack-on-the-go cup.
Because Frankie was lonely, I made him some friends, Mr. Pumpkin and Mrs. Ghost.  They’re pals now.
They’re also about the easiest (and tastiest, I might add) things you’ll ever make.  Even if there’s not a crafty bone in your skeleton body, you’ll be able to pull these off and wow the ghoulish party peeps or your little goblins after they trudge in the door from school.
Oh, the goodness that’s inside these mini cups.  Let’s take a minute to talk about it.
Graveyard dirt and mud (Mini OREO Chocolate Sandwich Cookies and Chocolate Snack Pack® pudding) mingle spookily with ghost poop (mini marshmallows), fog (Reddi-Wip) and earthworms (gummy worms), to form a concoction so yummy it’s deadly!
Seriously, you’ll howl in delight at bite one.  🙂
I love that the OREOs and pumpkins together look like a graveyard!
To formulate this blood-curdling-tasty “brew” of sorts, you’ll need some NABISCO Go-Paks!, Chocolate Snack Pack® Pudding, some Reddi-Wip and a few mix-ins like marshmallows and candy pumpkins.
I love that the cups are plastic, so they won’t leak when we place our wet ingredients inside. And, they’re not filled completely to the top, so adding in a few other creepy components is no biggie!
I snagged all of these items when I made an eerie appearance at Walmart with my little monsters not long ago.
It’s a no-brainer to stock up on these spooky snack items, available in terribly tremendous variety, because they’re only $1!
With THIS creepy coupon, you can BUY ONE, GET ONE FREE NABISCO Go-Paks! Buy ONE (1) Snack Pack® Pudding and get ONE (1) FREE (up to $1.00) NABISCO Go-Paks! (2.25 oz. or larger).
How bone-chillingly cool is that?
To make the “Graveyard Grub”, begin by removing about half of your mini OREOs and placing them aside in a bowl.  Don’t worry, we’ll use them later.
Place a few pieces of ghost poop (a.k.a. mini marshmallows) on top of the OREOs.  Spread one cup of graveyard mud (a.k.a. Chocolate Snack Pack® Pudding) on top.  Reserve a few mini OREOs for the topping and place the rest on top of the pudding.  Now bring on the graveyard fog (a.k.a. Reddi-Wip), because I’m not afraid, are you?
Top with reserved mini OREOs, candy pumpkins, and gummy worms (a.k.a. earthworms), not shown.
Now, because Frankenstein just has to make his frightening appearance in full costume, we’re going to create his ghastly get-up with a few items that you probably already have in your dark and dreary craft closet.  You’ll want to do this before you fill the cups, of course.
Simply wrap a piece of green paper around the cup, make a mark where the bottom of the cup is, and cut.  Now, wrap the paper around and secure with double-sided tape.  Because the cups aren’t perfectly round, the paper will not be completely even in the back, but it’s ok because everyone will be so distracted by the adorable front, that they won’t even notice.
Next, attach your large googly eyes with hot glue and draw on a face, hair and stitches with black permanent marker.  Cut two black bolts out of cardstock or construction paper, fold some small tabs, and attach to the sides with hot glue.
The steps are very similar for Mrs. Ghost and Mr. Pumpkin.  Measure the paper around the cup, cut, and draw on a spooky expression with black permanent marker.
Except with the pumpkin, you can glue a little piece of twig on top for the stem, as shown in the image below.
That’s it!  Super easy, huh?  I told you!
Now call all the little ghosts and goblins to gather ’round and enjoy this gruesome grub that’s totally NOT poisonous.  In fact, it’s so delightful, it’s magical!

Thanks for enduring my painful and plentiful puns of the Halloween sort.  I simply couldn’t help myself!  🙂
