One of my family’s favorite quick snacks, or lighter meals, are these Ham and Cream Cheese Roll-Ups. They are phenomenal! I take them to potlucks and everyone always wonders what is in them. They pack tons of flavor and you’d never know, judging by the impressive looks of them, that they are SO easy to make!
Have you heard of Roasted Raspberry Chipotle Sauce? We buy it at Costco (under the Fischer Brand). It’s absolutely fantastic-tasting. It’s great on pork, chicken, fish, deli sandwiches, and of course these tasty roll-ups.
{HAM & CREAM CHEESE
APPETIZER ROLL-UPS}
6 White Flour Tortillas
4 oz. Cream Cheese, softened (can use 1/3 less fat)
About 10 oz. Thinly-Sliced Deli Ham
Around 1/2 c. Raspberry Chipotle Sauce or Raspberry Jam
Lay a tortilla on a plate and smear with cream cheese. Spread a thin layer of Raspberry Chipotle Sauce over cream cheese. Place pieces of ham on top of the cream cheese and chipotle sauce, coming no further than 1/2″ from the edges of the tortilla. Roll up and poke with three toothpicks, spaced evenly apart. Cut between the toothpicks on the diagonal. Refrigerate. Best when served soon after making them. The sauce tends to make them soggy if they sit for too long.
These are a perfect finger food for parties, showers…really any kind of gathering…and they’re so pretty too!
