“Hoppy Easter” Bunny Cartons

I came up with this idea on a whim the other night after discovering these fun mini “Reese’s Pieces Egg” candy cartons at Target. My husband and I couldn’t get enough of the peanut butter and chocolate perfection inside and they are just so cute!  These would make adorable gifts.

Mine came together in about 5-10 minutes!  My daughter immediately took it after I finished and started playing “pretend”. 🙂

I apologize for faintly colored “Hoppy Easter” flag…my printer is just about out of ink.  Yours will look bold and beautiful.

{MATERIALS}

Reese’s Pieces Mini Candy Cartons
Bunny Ear printables (get them here)
“Hoppy Easter” flag printables (get them here)
Toothpick
Googly eyes
Pink and White Pom poms
Black construction paper, cardstock or pipe cleaners for the whiskers
Hot glue gun
  1. Print and cut out your bunny ears and “Hoppy Easter” flags
  2. Cut four skinny, short strips out of your black paper.  These will be the bunny’s whiskers.
  3. Hot glue your whiskers to the back of your pink pom pom. Then glue your “Hoppy Easter” flag to the toothpick.
  4. Hot glue the ears to the back of the carton.  Lastly, glue the googly eyes, nose and whiskers, flag and white pom pom feet to the front of the carton.  Glue a white pom pom to the back for a cute little cottontail.
You’re done!  The kids will love these!

    These look so fun for the kiddos! I'm pinning it now for when Claire is old enough to appreciate one of these.
