I made a word document with the information, printed, cut and glued onto red cardstock. Then I punched holes in the side and threaded fun ribbon through and inserted a black brad in the middle.
I gathered some small rocks and painted them red before the guests arrived. Then on the party day, I and some of the moms helped the kids draw dots and the face with black marker, and glue the eyes and antennae on. My daughter still plays with her ladybug pet that we keep in the backyard. 🙂
We also played “keep the balloon in the air”. I blew up some red balloons and added big polka-dots with permanent black marker. After I said, “go”, the kids had to keep bumping the balloon up to see who could keep it airborne the longest. We played several rounds, so I’m sure the kids went home tired. 🙂
