Making Wellness a Family Goal

Staying active as a family can be so much fun and helps instill good habits in kids that will stay with them into adulthood!

We got really lucky and acquired a tennis court as part of our home purchase two years ago. We’ve always enjoyed the sport, but especially now that we can play in the convenience of our own yard, we’ve really started focusing on it. We take weekly lessons, and the kids beg to get out and play in the evenings after school or on the weekends.

Tennis is a group sport, so it naturally lends itself to family play. I love that we can all get out together and exercise while having a wonderful time and building athletic skills.

I can’t tell you how happy it makes me, seeing my kids making an amazing serve or achieving a superb return. The progress we’ve seen over the last two years is immense, and I know it’s due to our family fitness goal and lots of focus and perseverence!

As a mom, I have an important responsibility to set an example of a healthy lifestyle for my kids. It all starts in the home by maintaining a well balanced diet and by being consistent about exercise. We’re not perfect every day with our habits, but we give a very valiant effort!

My kids have made a ritual of taking their vitamins as part of their morning “getting ready” routine before school. We love Nature Made® Kids First® Gummies because they’re not only yummy, but they’re an easy way for kids to take supplements!  They have great tasting natural flavors with no preservatives or yeast and are gluten free.

They have a new great price point of $9.99 too!

And because mom and dad don’t want to feel left out, we keep a stock of Nature Made® Adult Gummies around. Who says chewable vitamins are just for kids? 🙂

Nature Made had the 1st gummies verified by USP for purity and potency.* *Find those Nature Made USP verified gummies on NatureMade.com/USP. The tangerine flavor is so tasty!

These vitamins are easy to find at Target on the vitamins and supplements aisle.

Be sure to take advantage of this Cartwheel offer for 10% off all Nature Made® products, while supplies last!

We love to find things to do year round that keep us moving, but this time of year is especially great for outdoor exercise! The temps are perfect and the views are gorgeous with the leaves changing.

It’s so fulfilling watching my kids play kindly while learning to work as a team. It’s possible to make exercise a memorable bonding experience when it becomes a family-wide emphasis! I hope tennis is one of those things that always unites us, even when my kids are grown and out of the house.

What is your family’s favorite way to have fun while being active? I’d love to hear!

So lucky to have a tennis court in your backyard! We used to live in an apartment complex years back and loved to play there. It's been a while. ~client

How cool that you have a tennis court! And I really need to do better about remembering to give my kids their vitamins every day! Thanks for the reminder!

We love how convenient the court is. We've been learning so much about tennis over the past few years and it's such a fun sport to play as a family. It really brings us together. Vitamins like this are so easy and yummy to take! :)
