Strawberry Infused Water

Please welcome Kelley again from The Grant Life! She’s here to share a refreshing summer drink recipe!

Ditch the boring water and try this easy strawberry infused water instead!

Hey yall!  Kelley from the Grant life here again to share another easy recipe with yall.  We live in South Texas and it is hot, hot, hot!  I am really over the heat, but we have a few more months before it starts to cool down.  And I’m going to be honest – I am tired of regular water!  I know I need to drink it, but plain water all day is no fun.  So I decided to spice up my water!

Easy strawberry infused water recipe

Infused water is so so easy to whip up and makes drinking water fun.  No, I’m not kidding!  I love grabbing glass after glass of this strawberry basil infused water.  It’s so good that its easy to forget that it’s water.. and good for you!  And technically it’s not a “recipe” because you just toss everything together, but I wanted to share it with you anyways.  You know, in case you were getting tired of plain water too!

Easy infused water recipe
To make a pitcher of strawberry basil infused water you need –

  • 1 cup of strawberries
  • handful of fresh basil leaves
  • water and ice

And just add it all to a pitcher.  Allow to steep for a few overs before drinking.  The flavor is best if you let it “brew” overnight.  I go through a pitcher so fast that I just add more water to my pitcher and it still tastes great.  Gotta love that!

Thanks for letting me share another easy recipe with yall!  I’ll be back next month with something easy and delicious as well!

Oooooo….I can’t wait to give this infused water a try!  It looks like a perfect way to cool off in this heat!

Here’s a few recent recipes of Kelley’s that I’ve been absolutely drooling over!

I have the same problem: I should drink more but plain water is just... not attractive! So far I tried to infuse a handful of fresh mint leaves in the bottle I bring to the office, but for sure trying different tastes will be great.
    Thanks for sharing!
