Everyone will rave about these Chicken Bundles where a flaky crescent roll hugs a warm, creamy chicken center. Plus, they’re so easy to make with just a few ingredients!
With the current situation in the world, I’ve been trying to come up with simple meals that don’t have a lot of components and that use readily available ingredients. I’ve been trying to share one or two of them with you each week to give you ideas too. I hope it’s helping!
The other day I thought, “Wouldn’t it be delicious to make a creamy chicken filling and roll it up in crescent rolls? Then, to make it even better, I’ll roll them in crushed cracker crumbs?
I love when my recipe ideas come to fruition and are every bit as delicious as I hope them to be when I concoct them! This is one of those. These are absolutely irresistible! My family gobbled them right up! I’ll definitely be making them again and again!
They come together so quickly, especially if you use a rotisserie chicken or canned chicken, like I did. Then, all you need are some cans of crescent rolls, a ranch dressing mix packet, cream cheese, and crushed Ritz crackers. It really is so easy!
The scrumptious treasure in the center provides excitement in every bite! You’re just five ingredients away from enjoying one of the most delicious meals you can sink your teeth into! These look fancy, but are totally fuss-free! They’d also make a great party appetizer!
Or, pair them with a side of veggies or salad and fruit and call it a meal! No matter what, these are nothing short of delightful! I’m already looking forward to the time when we can enjoy them again!
Chicken Bundles
Ingredients
- 2 cans 8 oz each refrigerated crescent rolls dough
- 2 large chicken breasts cooked and shredded (use rotisserie chicken or canned chicken to simplify it) (about 2-2 1/2 c. shredded, cooked chicken)
- 8 oz cream cheese softened
- 1/2 of a Ranch salad dressing mix packet 1/2 oz.
- 3/4 c. crushed Ritz crackers
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, softened cream cheese and Ranch dressing mix. Unroll the crescent roll dough on a silicone baking mat-lined baking sheet. Add 1 heaping Tbsp. of the filling mixture on the largest part of each roll (basically you'll want to just unroll all the crescent rolls and then split the filling mixture evenly between them before rolling them up), then tuck the sides in and roll up. Roll the filled bundles in crushed Ritz crackers and place on prepared baking sheet. The crescent dough should be slightly sticky, so the crumbs should adhere easily.
- Bake for approximately 18-20 minutes, or just until golden brown and flaky. Enjoy warm.
You’re going to be so glad you served these for dinner! I hope you get to try them soon!
