Summer is all about cool and creamy desserts like this Easy Oreo Cheesecake Dip! Serve it with fresh fruit and the crowds will cheer!
When I’m invited to a potluck or BBQ with friends, I love making fruit dips, because they are so easy, feed the masses, and are always a huge hit! Plus, I tell myself they’re healthy in a way because…well..fruit! Haha!
This one has just a few ingredients and literally comes together in minutes! I recommend making it just before you’ll be serving it. It tends to thicken the longer it sits in the fridge, but you can fix that by stirring in a little milk, if you need to make it ahead.
I loved it with the strawberries, but it’s also good by the spoonful! Not that I would have any experience with that, ahem.
It would also be great with pineapple, apples, and blackberries. The sky’s the limit! When it comes down to it, you just really can’t go wrong when you’re talking about Oreo’s, cream cheese, and whipped topping. Just typing those words makes my taste buds giddy!
Just look at that delightful dipped strawberry! One bite, and you won’t be able to stop! I’m a total fruit dip girl!
I have so many favorites, but some of the ones I crave are this 3 Ingredient Fruit Dip, this Key Lime Pie Dip, this Cherry Chocolate Mousse Dip and this Pink Lemonade Dip. You have to try them all and let me know which one you like the best!
But if you are an Oreo fanatic like me (I like the original kind the most, how about you?), you are going to flip for this dip!

Easy Oreo Cheesecake Dip
Ingredients
- 8 oz. cream cheese softened
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 1 c. finely-crushed Oreo cookies I put mine in the blender
- 8 oz. whipped topping
- Coarsely-crumbled Oreos for topping
Instructions
- In the bowl of an electric mixer, cream together cream cheese, vanilla extract and powdered sugar. Cream it very well until no cream cheese lumps remain. Fold in crushed Oreo's and whipped topping. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. If it gets too thick after sitting in the fridge, stir in a tablespoon of milk at a time until it reaches the desired creamy consistency. Serve with crumbled Oreo's on top for garnish.
What fruit will you serve with it? I hope this gets to make an appearance at your next summer gathering! It’s sure to be the star of the show!
