Happy October, all you I Dig Pinterest readers! I was so flattered when Christine asked me to
participate in her Halloween Extravaganza. I used to blog quite a bit over at Mr & Mrs Smith, but then a baby happened. You could
say I’m taking a baby sabbatical from blogging. Maybe that’s why I was extra excited to guest post for
Christine.
(Isn’t he cute? And he’s JUST started smiling. I am in love.)
Anyway, I really love putting together cute gifts and treats during the holidays. Last year, I created
something I called a Frankentine. It’s like a valentine, only in October. Get it? Because Frankenstein . . .
and Valentine . . . Cheesy, but so fun. You can print them for free and share them with your friends! Just
save the image below and print it out as a full 8.5″ x 11″ sheet–just make sure you choose the “shrink to
fit” option when printing, so none of the images get cut out. I recommend printing on cardstock at your
local Staples (or wherever you like to print things) for best quality.
Also, here are some gift bag toppers you can use. Just print these little babies out in a 4×6 size and
staple them to the top of a little ziploc sandwich baggie full of your favorite treats. I felt so cool giving
these away to people last year.
Last year I gave away some pumpkin shaped buckeyes . . .
. . . but I also really love these candy corn cookies (original recipe from Our Best Bites, read my review here).
See how cute the little baggies are?
Anyway, I hope these silly little things brighten up your Halloween. Come say hi sometime: on the blog OR on instagram (where I am frequenting a lot more these days). Thanks so much for
having me, Christine!
