It’s teacher appreciation week and I’ve got a perfectly cute gift idea for you with this Lemonade & Sunshine drink mug and free printable!
I cannot believe another school year is almost over! My daughter is finishing up the second grade and can’t wait for summer break to arrive. We have lots of fun plans, including trips to see both sets of grandparents, swimming lessons, and lots of playdates with friends!
Her teacher this time around, as with past years, has been so wonderful. I love every opportunity I get to show her that I am so thankful for all she does to educate my daughter and her classmates. I’m sure it’s no easy task! I admire all teachers for the work they do and the positive influence they have on our kids.
This lemonade mug is what my daughter will be giving her teacher this week. I hope she likes it! I bought an inexpensive plastic Mason jar drink mug and filled it about halfway with lemon drops. Then I tucked in some individual lemonade drink mixes.
I tied some fun yellow paper straws together with baker’s twine, and then attached them to the jar with the tag. So simple and thoughtful!
I think it’s so bright and cheery looking, too! Yellow is the color that most reminds me of the magic of summertime, and I personally love all things lemon!
Because good teachers deserve lemonade and sunshine all summer!
Download and print your free lemonade tags HERE. I recommend printing these on white cardstock for durability. If you’d like, your child can sign his or her name in small print sideways at the bottom of the tag.
